The Exile Fund was set up by the Common Grounds Project to help low-income and newly arrived Tibetan refugees in the Tibetan exile community of Dharamsala in difficult financial circumstances.
From out of pocket medical expenses and school fees to reuniting long lost family members in exile, we address the hardships of life in exile for ordinary Tibetans. By lifting individuals out of a cycle of financial instability through financial assistance, we empower our recipients to be debt-free and self-reliant.
Below is a list of individuals whom we've assisted through Common Grounds Project's Exile Fund.
- Tsewang Dhondup - Family reunion
- Choedon & Lhakpa Tsering - Birth delivery
- Pema & Lobsang Rabsel - Birth delivery and school fees
- Kelsang - Family reunion
- Janchup & Nyima Lhamo - Birth delivery
